Papirklipp is the print-based endeavour of Richard Brittain, specializing in (but not exclusive to) blockprints and other low-tech/analog printmaking techniques. Papirklipp is the is the sister company of Bliss in a Teacup.

About Me

Born in the Canadian province of British Columbia (which is neither), I lived on the Pacific coast of Canada until emigrating to New Zealand with my Kiwi wife in 2011. Through a tangled path I trained in fine arts, printing and woodworking, finally stumbling upon the design and craft world which seemed to bring together and make sense of these disparate fields. Drawing upon a life-long feeling of being neither one thing nor another, I have a fascination with hybrid forms in all their amazing, complex and unlikely varieties.
